Important change to January Council of Administration!

Due to the continued COVID restrictions, the January Council will now be a ZOOM meeting only on the 23rd. We will include some training and the Chairmen'' conference. National District Area G Councilmember Joyce Bilyeu will be our National Representative.

President Robyn is also planning a virtual event on the Saturday evening - bring our soda, your coffee, your wine or your beer and join the evening Zoom fundraiser! As always, basket or, more likely, gift cards ad other donations from Districts and Auxiliaries are very much appreciated for the prizes! Flyers, agendas, and connection information will  be sent out soon!

The Department Office is now "manned weekly" with one of us in the office at least once a week. All communications, membership applications, and checks can once again go directly to the office address at 9136 Elk Grove Blvd Ste 101, Elk Grove, CA 95624.

The National President has also issued an Executive Order regarding  how an Auxiliary that is not meeting in person can request to function without a physical quorum and how the District President's Official Visit" (Inspection) can be conducted.

If you have any questions of concerns, please feel free to contact the Department Office at 714-809-2874 or vfwauxca@gmail.com .

As an aid, a list of possible free teleconference services is provided. (Note: Freeconferencecall has been used by District 12 among others, is straightforward, and allows up to 100 Attendees). Zoom.us as well as WEBEX, Skype, freeconferencecall and others provide video conferencing capabilities. Many have a free service with some constraints (e.g. Zoom is free with a limit of 45 minutes per meeting) and also have fee based services.

Welcome to the California Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. We are an organization consisting of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandsons and granddaughters of those persons, both male and female, who have honorably served in the Armed forces of the United States. We believe in Americanism, which has been defined as an unfailing love of country; loyalty to its institutions and ideals, eagerness to defend it against all enemies, undivided allegiance to the flag, and a desire to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and posterity.

We serve and support the veterans, active duty soldiers and their families of the United States for they are the ones that put their lives on the line to allow us the daily freedoms we enjoy.
