Please note there has been a correction to the church address: 3330 E. Miraloma Ave.
April 23, 2021
The VFW has been informed by representatives of the Baltimore Convention Center that, due to circumstances beyond its control, the Baltimore Convention Center will not be able to accommodate the contractual needs for the 2021 National Convention.
As such, it is not possible to hold the 2021 National Convention in Baltimore.
Alternate locations are now being considered, and the VFW National Council will decide the final location at a future date.
Further, Housing will cancel the reservations made through them. If anyone made a reservation outside of our block, they will need to cancel themselves
At this time I don’t know about the VFW’s plans going forward, but reassured that I will be letting you know just as soon as I hear from the VFW.

As an aid, a list of possible free teleconference services is provided. (Note: Freeconferencecall has been used by District 12 among others, is straightforward, and allows up to 100 Attendees). Zoom.us as well as WEBEX, Skype, freeconferencecall and others provide video conferencing capabilities. Many have a free service with some constraints (e.g. Zoom is free with a limit of 45 minutes per meeting) and also have fee based services.
----------------------------------------------------------Welcome to the California Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. We are an organization consisting of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandsons and granddaughters of those persons, both male and female, who have honorably served in the Armed forces of the United States. We believe in Americanism, which has been defined as an unfailing love of country; loyalty to its institutions and ideals, eagerness to defend it against all enemies, undivided allegiance to the flag, and a desire to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and posterity.
...we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.
WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, Kosovo, War in Afghanistan, War in Iraq, War on Global Terror and other Peace-Keeping Expeditionary Campaigns throughout the globe.
On the battlefield, the military pledges to leave no soldier behind. As a Nation, let it be our pledge that when they return home, we leave no veteran behind.
Patriotism consists not in waving the flag, but in striving that our country shall be righteous as well as strong.
