| On Sunday April 21 2024 one of our Post's Comrade Bob Roberts after getting all of the City of Manteca's permits in order and Post and Auxiliary permission held a Vendor's Faire in our parking lot. Approximately 10 local vendors hosted a booth to sell their handcrafted wares. Our Post's Sr. Vice Hector Torres and I put up our VFW Post & Auxiliary Booth to promote ""What We Do"" and ""Volunteer Opportunities."" In talking with a couple of other vendors and people who came through I gave out 4 Auxiliary Applications. Hector gave out 1 VFW veteran application. I am hopeful about their return as they each seemed genuinely interested in joining and helping. |
