| On January 20 2024 at the District 3 meeting held at VFW Post 3251 in Desert Shores Thermal CA Yvonne De La Hoya - District 3 Hospital Chair spoke and handed out information. Yvonne reported that VAVA at Loma Linda VA Hospital was in need of Volunteers for February Appreciation Week. It was also reported that District 3 was hosting a BBQ on February 16 2024 from 10:00 to 3:00 at the hospital and donations would be needed for this event.
In the folder that Yvonne De La Hoya provided to all of District 3 Auxiliaries included: The Veterans BBQ scheduled February 16 2024 the January 2024 Hospital Promotion - Department of California the Message from the Veterans Health Administration - December 5 2023 regarding International Volunteer Day and the Message from the Veterans Health Administration - October 25 2023 regarding the Million Veteran Program and the need for Veterans to join MVP.; and the Message From the Veterans Health Administration - January 18 2024 regarding the Roll Up Your Sleeve for National Blood Donor Month.
