| On 10/28/2023 at the District 3 meeting at VFW Post 1534 in Desert Hot Springs Yvonne De La Hoya - Hospital Chair for District 3 was unable to attend due to illness. Yvonne sent Eleanor Lopez (Treasurer to Auxiliary 9223) to attend on her behalf. Yvonne had prepared a folder for all of District 3 Auxiliaries which Eleanor was able to handout. Included in the folder was an email from Loma Linda VAVS Committee Team. The Loma Linda VA Hospital was having a huge event from November 6th thru 9th. There was a serious need for volunteers to assist with serving food and handing out information. Anyone interested was asked to signup online or call their office.
Also a copy of the email from VAVS regarding the Vets-giving Support Needed event scheduled on November 15th was in need of volunteers to help serve food. The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System Donation form was also included. |
