| Working with Maddie Cunningham Colston to merge data from Good Standing Dashboard with Program Report information for the Chairmen to use to inform their year end report to National.
Data for program reports good standing and dashboard was downloaded. A database was created and files manipulated to add a common key field (District # plus Auxiliary # with the District record being Auxiliary # zero for each District.. The data in the Good Standing Report was compressed (multiple records per Auxiliary combined to one single record for each Auxiliary) so there is only 1 good standing record to the many program report records.
Also downloaded all Dashboard data as a copy and paste into a spreadsheet so it can be manipulated by Maddie.
Teaching Maddie how all of this is and has been done so that the information can move forward as web team members change.
This exercise will also inform a change request to the contractors who program and maintain the website so that hopefully in the future the end dataset/report can be run directly from the Admin login to the website without so much manipulation of the data. Right now it's baby steps to help the Chairmen get more accurate information more quickly to inform National.
