| On Thursday April 11 2024 Auxiliary President Julia Owens gave out poppies to veterans and auxiliary members and families of our local veterans during our monthly events of ""Veteran Giveaway Day. These veterans and their families can drive through our parking lot and we (Post 6311 CERTS Bread of Life Delta Humane VA Reps Wide Horizons and volunteers) load up their vehicles with fresh produce nonperishables personal care items breads pet food beverages frozen foods etc. Well our Auxiliary President gave out poppies and collected moneys towards our next month's giveaway that we put towards the fresh produce. All in All she collected $114.61! |
