Description
On 10/3/2023 Riverside City held its National Night Out at Ysmael Villegas Park. Auxiliary 9223 had three members participate at this event (Vivienne Bracamonte Vera Cooke and Yvonne De La Hoya). Yvonne De La Hoya made an attractive display using styrofoam ribbon Buddy Poppies and small USA flags. Flags were placed in and around the display and flags were handed out to the community. Yvonne De La Hoya used 60 Buddy Poppies on this display and 70 Buddy Poppies were handed out to the community. Everyone was asked to show their support by wearing their Buddy Poppy on Nov 11 2023 Veterans Day.
