Description
On 10/3/2023 Riverside City held its National Night Out at Ysmael Villegas Park. Three Auxiliary 9223 members (Vivienne Bracamonte Vera Cooke and Yvonne De La Hoya) participated in this event. Although our main project was a table for children to color USA flags Yvonne De La Hoya made a large poster regarding Veterans eligibility to adopt a dog or cat free from a government run animal shelter. Many adults passing by took the time to read the poster and ask questions about the program. We probably had about 15 to 20 inquires about this program.
