CONTEST ENTRY - MOST CREATIVE
This hat symbolizes the American Eagle resting on a bed of Buddy Poppies. The Buddy Poppies are a reminder of our fallen soldiers who have died for this county and to remember our Veterans. The Eagle holds a Buddy Poppy in its beak to show how our Veterans create the red poppy we so proudly display. The red white and blue ribbon below the hat and the stars on the Eagle's wings is a reminder of our American Flag and our country.
There are 36 regular Buddy Poppies used on this hat and 21 larger size buddy poppies (a total of 57 buddy poppies were used).
