| Auxiliary to VFW post 1267 prepares a full breakfast on the third Sunday of every month for veterans and their families. This is however not an V & FS report. We use high school student(s) for set up delivery of meals busing tables and assisting in clean up after the dining room is closed. The student(s) are trained by the kitchen crew who are Auxiliary members serving as volunteers. Most often there is only one student but on occasion there are two. The student(s) compensation is the training they receive and the tips left by the diners. There were no auxiliary funds used in the activity. |
