| I was always told that the reports start in April/May for the new term so to get all my reports in by mid May for them to count. I have been apart of the Auxiliary for ten years and the way I understood this information is incorrect. At the top of the I didn't know this but on your reports the dates are listed on the blackout sheet! I usually don't look at the blackout sheet. So when I learned this after being apart of the auxiliary including in district positions I felt it would be useful information for everyone to know. So I posted in the District 13 Officers group chat.
I ""thought"" it was good information to share but apparently some women complained that it wasn't ""my place"" to post that information. But I thought I was being a good team member sharing what I was pretty damn excited to learn. I literally have been doing my reporting counts wrong for 10 years!
Our district President is a good leader she is 100% all in for team work. We have a few people in our district that just like to complain. I know I am not a officer anymore. I know I never sat in the Presidents chair but I am still a member. I am on the same team I didn't feel there was anything wrong with encouraging everyone to write some reports. It's members like the complainer that made me exit the line for District President. Every single one of us should be encouraging and uplifting the others to succeed for the good of our organization. Just because someone doesn't hold a title doesn't mean they can't contribute information or encourage others. Most of our district is red on the blackout sheet. It's a shame some people don't encourage team work. District 13 has been lucky to have Leslie as our President she is willing to do the work with the rest of us and it's not a competition with her she has the greater good in mind. Below is what I sent in the group chat I only meant for it to be ""we can do this"" encouraging. I don't know who the complainer was but I hope they read this and realize I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes I was just flabbergasted that I didn't know and figured if I have been a member for ten years and didn't know maybe it was information worth passing on to others.
