| Lifetime Auxiliary member Diane Novo was approved to represent the VFWA during the Vietnam Healing Wall escort.. Her husband Dave Novo is a motorcycle rider with the American Legion Post 88 MC Riders he is also a VFW member at large. On Tuesday they drove from their home in Turlock to Stage Stop in Atwater to await the Healing Wall. Upon it's arrival a small ceremony was done with hundreds of riders from all over came to escort the wall honoring Vietnam Veterans to Merced College. It was a beautiful display of patriotism and pride! Historian report with photos to follow. |
