| 6 members sent support letters to their legislator (Caballero) in support of SB.1124. This bill seeks to strengthen state law protections for veterans by prohibiting any person not accredited by the VA from charge a veteran for help with a benefit claim. SB1124 will increase penalties for those who obtain unauthorized access to veterans' data on VA computer systems and prohibit the charging of fees hat exceed that a VA-accredited attorney or claims agent could legally charge to assist a veteran with a benefits claims. |
