| Auxiliary 1512 members & Girl Scout Troop 6942 facilitated a day of Card making at the Ronald McDonald house at Children's Hospital. We provided all the paper material embellishments stamps & stamp pads to make amazing cards. each person staying at the Ronald Mc Donald House got to make a card for their loved one at Childrens Hospital then they made cards for our Veterans at the VA Hospital in La Jolla. So much fun was had they didn't want us to leave. 10 cards were made for the children at the hospital and 50plus cards for our VA Hospital. We then walked around the facility and gave out calendars and pens with our Auxiliary information to the adults there visiting their loved ones. Amazing time had by all. They want us BACK. Definitely planning this again as everyone had a great time. |
