| Digging back into past photos on the FB page when there was greater comradery amongst members I shared a photo The VFW Walk Watchers from many years ago at least 8 years ago when everyone met one time a week to walk downtown Turlock. The local downtown held a $1000 contest and the group with the most attendance after a year won. I would send out a text the day before reminding everyone and we all met stretched then walked around. Each week we would stop in to visit the designated spot to learn about their business in a short presentation. We won the money working as a team and it really brought us together and hope to have other remanence in that time and hopefully work to bring it back. |
