| Om this date at VFW Post 5394 14 auxilairy members and 6 spouses had a pot ;uck luncheon to not only celebrate Presidents Day but to reflect on those Presidents that had impacted the lives of our serv ice memebrs their families and and communities we live in. We had some members who were present during President Roosevelt Truman Eisenhower quite a few under Kennedy Johnson and Nixon wll the way up to Carter Regan Clinto Bush )both) Obama and noew Biden. The main topic of discussion was ""What good did they bring to our servcie members families and our communities."" Each member was able to reflect on the goodness each one broughrt which we feltg was impportant espicially in todays culture where threr is so much attention brought on the negative. Bottom Line: Lets focus on the positive not the negative and heal those whon are hurting when we can. |
