| Back in September 2023 our auxiliary received an email from Bella Qu a 7th grade student inquiring about the Patriot's Pen Competion. I called the number and spoke with her father. about the requirements and the deadline for the essay to be submitted to a VFW post. We did receive Bella Qu's essay before the 31st of October. Her essay was given to the VFW Post Scholarship Chairman and it was judged and accepted. Her entry became our VFW Post 2814 first place winner. It was then sent to our District 6 . We are waiting to hear if whe became the District winner and would go on on to Dep of CA for judging. |
