Description
At the 7-11-2023 Auxiliary meeting nine members reported they flew their US flags on the 4th of July. Member Barbara DeWitt also reported she had a US flag that was flown over the White House that belonged to her husband (a Veteran). Barbara donated this flag to her neighbor who did not own a US flag. Members were once again reminded how to dispose of a torn US flag. Only the blue and star portion of the flag must be properly disposed. In Riverside Fire Station 1 (by the Mission Inn) can be used or the Ace Hardware store in the Woodcrest area on Van Buren Avenue.
