| On Thursday January 11 2024 our Post 6311 hosted a Veteran Giveaway Day. This is a day where veterans can drive through our parking lot with their trunks open and we and other benevolent companies load them up with produce nonparishables various breads canned goods some hygiene products pet food and treats. We have VA Reps available to help our vets with any processing of claims and info. Amongst all the volunteers were: 3 Auxiliary; 5 Comrades; 8 CERTS; 4 Bread of Life; 2 Delta Humane 8 Wide Horizons and 4 Non-Member Volunteers. In all 55 families were served. |
