| 7 members and 5 non-members helped with the parade and the soup and bread following the parade. some of the duties were to bake the bread serve the meals buss the tables clean up after the parade During the parade we helped give out the lineup at the parade take photos (photos were put on Facebook the following day) help the judges tally the points for the awards and then help in the hall with the dinner..
The hall was decorated by one of the Auxiliary members along with her two children. This member is a teacher and 40 of the students at her school wrote thank you letters to the veterans. The letters were in envelopes and were included in the decorations on the tables and all 40 of the letters were given to the veterans that attended the luncheon. |
