| One Auxiliary member photographed Past Post Commander Barry Colston dressed as Santa for the Monthly Post Breakfast (open to the public) held on December 17 2023 in Hawthorne CA. ""Santa"" listened to many families' children tell him of their wishes and then the Jr. ROTC cadets acting as Santa's Helpers led the children to tables loaded with toys where the kids could select whatever they wanted. Two photos were then captioned: a photo of ""Santa"" by himself as well as one of Santa's ornate chair with tables of toys behind it and both were sent to National in response to the ""Show Us Your Santa"" request put out in the Auxiliary's newsletter. These may be worthy of being displayed on National's social media on 12/24-25. |
