Description |
attended a military funeral service for veterans who had no local families at Miramar National Cemetery. This was in conjunction with the Patriot Guard Riders (veterans' based motorcycle club) where in the other folks folded the USA flag and handed it to me for temporary custody on behalf of the 4 veterans who were being interred. I was given the honors to read 1 of the 4 names of the deceased who happened to be in the US Navy and served during Vietnam. I was honored/humbled to be in charge of the deceased's name and holding the folded flag during the 30 minute ceremony. |
