Description
The Central Valley Stand Down for Veterans was held at the Clovis Memorial Building on Monday September 25 and Tuesday September 26 2023. The Stand Down hours were from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and consisted of resource tables designated especially for Veterans. All services were free of charge consisting of full medical dental clothing food and ophthalmology. On those 2 days Dr. Sylvia A. Sanchez District 9 President set a table with samples of resumes for employment purposes for Veterans. There were sign-up sheets for those who needed assistance with their resumes. Additionally there were Buddy Poppies on the table for them to pick up. This service was free.
