During the coarse of our most recent VFW Convention in Anaheim I was asked by Mary Reiser to be on her Membership Team. With that said I have been looking for opportunities to visit Posts near me. With Deborah Hernandez's permission on Monday November 6 2023 Post 6311 Auxiliary Sr. Vice Julia Owens and myself attended Modesto 3199 Auxiliary Meeting. During the Suggestions for the Good of the Order (after introducing myself and explaining why I was there) I spoke on how I keep at least applications with me at all times and how I look for opportunities to share about the Auxiliary and what we do at our Post in support of our veterans. I spoke on seizing opportunities in the community like Pumpkin Faires etc to talk with the community on the benefits of being an Auxiliary Member. I encouraged them in being active and also seizing opportunities because we're all Super Heroes in our veteran support.
