Description
The Auxiliary teamed up with our Post members for the Memorial day weekend 5/2023. for a Buddy Poppy Campaign at a local Asian Market. We worked for 126 hours drove 176 miles roundtrip between the 6 members that worked. While we asked shoppers to wear a Poppy and hand out The Buddy Poppy Story pamphlets we presented children of shoppers with a 71/2"" x 12"" American Flag with poppies wrapped around the stick of the flag. 48 American Flags were given out. It was such fun to see the children waving the flags watching the flow of the flag with their eyes. The parents were very thankful. Gwen Rankin Americanism Chairman
