| Description |
| 6 Auxiliary members worked a Buddy Poppy Campaign May 26-May 28 2023. These 6 members worked 126 hours and drove 176 miles round trip. We helped in setting up table and chairs. The Buddy Poppy story pamphlets were passed out to children and Adult shoppers.
We asked shoppers to wear a Poppy in memory of Veterans. and most were generous to place a donation in our decorated coffee cans.
Post and Auxiliary members play ukulele's and sing songs of the Hawaiian Islands and other popular songs.
We received many thank you's from the shoppers for the poppies (we wrapped 3 poppies together)) and pamphlets !
The VFW Post was very generous in sharing the intake of monetary donations received. The portion they shared with the Auxiliary
allowed the Auxiliary to meet their annual obligations..
