| On 10/16/2023 I assisted another member of the auxiliary (Debra Galgiani McDaniel) with transportation to have a medical procedure at Kaiser Hospital. The procedure had her sedated and she was not able to drive herself home. Debra asked if I would be available to be her driver of 72 miles and be there during her procedure. I was happy to do this for her. Debra is a caretaker for her veteran husband and also for her daughter. I think it is important for us to be mindful of our own members of the Auxiliary who also gave much along with their veteran family member who gave so much. |
