Description
On August 25 2023 Long Beach Navy Hospital held their monthly :Social Connection: for the Vets. There is donated food items such as burritos pastries snacks of all kinds fresh fruits and coffee to be served to the Vets at this event. The Hawthorne Auxiliary members (Myrlene Poma and Jo Ann Wright) handed out approx 50= Poppies one to each of the Vets who attended the Social Connection event. As the Vets were walking through the food line they were handed a Poppy to wear and display.
