| Auxiliary 1534 regular meeting I passed out the 2023 Legislative Priorities tri-fold brochure and asked who was already signed up on ""Action Corp"" weekly and no one was so I asked them all to sign up. I discussed the importance of ""Action Alerts"" and that we just had one with the Major Richard Star Act that affects our Veteran's Retirement pay. I also told everyone that the Auxiliary was very instrumental is getting the Pact Act passed with our email Action Alert campaign response and asked them all to join our voices for our Veterans. I also spoke about the Pets 4 Vets Act poster competition to raise awareness of our State Shelters and Veterans about the free adoption of pets from State Shelters. Several were willing to work on the poster. |
