Description
Each year the VFW Post 2075 and Auxiliary along with the Hawthorne American Legion 314 ad its Auxiliary host a public observance in the City Of Hawthorne on Memorial Day. As part of the preparations for hosting the luncheon served to the public after the Ceremony 4 Auxiliary members bundled place settings of plastic utensils in napkins and wrapped the wire 'stem' of a Buddy Poppy around each bundle to secure it. The 4 members wrapped over 100 bundles (using over 100 Buddy Poppies).
