| One of our auxiliary members is the President of the ""Friends of East Union Memorial Cemetery Board."" Many of our Post Members that have past are buried there along with soldiers dating back to WWI. On Saturday July 29 2023 the FEU Cemetery held their first annual Car Show Fundraiser of which our auxiliary donated $60.00 towards 2 plaques for awards. Together with our Jr. Vice Julia Owens she and I attended the event and acted as judges for the 2 plaques that were donated. It was a wonderful event with the American Legion Auxiliary and MTSP CEO participating as well as other local businesses donating raffle prizes and plaques as well. It was an honor to be a part of their fundraising for the completion of the EUC Veterans Memorial & Columbarium. |
