Description
While at the State Convention we received a call from our Post’s adopt a unit - a National Guard Unit of MPs - who were returning from training. They asked if the Post and Auxiliary could provide them with a bbq meal to mark the end of their training. 3 Auxiliary members worked with the Post to prepare pulled pork hot dogs beans chicken (3 hours prep/travel time) and all the fixings and spent 3 hours at the armory setting up serving ~65 National Guard members and cleaning up afterwards. Actual date of activity June 15-17.
