| Visited the mobile Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall. It is an exact replicate of the original wall which was dedicated on November 13 1982. It was constructed with all private funds.. There have been three additions added to the Memorial site. The first Three Servicemen Statute and flag pole 1984. The second The Vietnam Woman's Memorial in 1993 and the most recent the ""In Memory Plaque"" in 2004. These were all constructed with private funds. The Memorial wall is transported by a huge trailer and tractor and is displayed along with the memorial. It alone is a site to see because the exterior walls on each side of the trailer are raised and have information about the Vietnam War and displays of the uniforms worn and several other items. |
