| Support letter for S.1515 the Retired Pay Restoration Act. This legislation would allow certain qualified retirees that would not be covered under the Major Richard Star Act entitlement to military retired pay and VA disability compensation beginning on 1/1/2024. This bill would also end the existing concurrent receipt phase-in period. It would end the unfair policy of requiring certain qualified military retiress to forfeit some of their retired pay in order to receive equal amounts of disability compensation from the VA. |
