| On our 2nd day of camp at Lake O’Neil the youth had so much fun day before(had to be the goodies they got recognized with) they came back. Today we focused on the flag. We watched a couple of short U-tube videos we then made our own flags with crafting supplies I had brought with me. We discussed the 13 colonies/stripes on our flag. The got to hold their flag as we recited the pledge of allegiance. Then each one of them made their own bingo cards with help of a parent. They could only enter on their card either one of the presidents that they remembered from the day before or any of the 13 colonies states that they remember. Those that were written on their bingo cards were then written on cards for bingo. We wanted to make sure that only what was on their bingo cards is what we were pulling for the game. And the treats left over from the day before what are the prices. We had a total of 13 youth participate since new campers had arrived. |
