Description
On Saturday May 27 2023 3 Auxiliary members volunteered at the Modesto Classic Run for Suicide awareness that our local Vet Centre hosts. There were over 300 runners participating in the 5K(3mi) run and 69 runners in the 1 mile run The 3 VFW volunteers helped make and serve 900-1000 pancakes and 140 Cups of Coffee! The DAV Frito Lay Stockton PD Modesto R/C Flyers and other organizations also gave assistance.. The Run was a great success.
