| 3 members of 2805 aux passed out 3x5 flags to 150 veterans at the VA SACC celebration for both Flag Day & US Army Birthday on 6/14/2023-we set up the tables and gave out awareness material about PTSD and the Crisis Line brackets during this event. we partnered with the ELKS Van Nuys & Reseda to provide subway sandwiches chips bottle water & cookies to the 150 veterans God Bless America We made sure that everyone knew that June 14 is Flag Day as we continued to educate all that came up to our tables to talk to us.
I gave the correct for the hours miles & members to the Americanism program-I'm the VAVS for VA SACC and I make sure that our heroes are given thanks at all celebration for the military birthdays for all branches. |
