Description
Input as 7/1 to get into 2023-4 reporting. Actual date of activity 5/27-29. Aux member worked Kidfest community event over Memorial Day weekend. There were 2 primary objectives - membership drive and Buddy Poppy drive - time was split equally between the two programs. Event was also cross reported under Youth and Americanism with no hours. This report is for Buddy Poppy. Over the weekend we prepared 1000 Lollipoppies (dum-dums wrapped with a Poppy) and distributed them to children at the event. We explained what the Poppy represented and asked them to wear it to remember a veteran. We were at the event from 8am until 6pm each day. 10x3= 30/2. = 15 hours reported for Buddy Poppy.
