| On May 3rd 2023 A few ladies from the Hawthorne Auxiliary (Jo Ann Wright Sharon Mills and Christine Blumberg) hosted a hourly game of Bingo with the Vets at the West L.A. Hospital. There was 20 Vets in attendance. Snack bags were assembled at Bingo to be given out at the end of the hr.. There were a lot of ""Bingo winners"" that day.
At the end of our hour of Bingo two hospital volunteers arranged for a game of ""Horse Racing"" played with dice and stick horses.
The Vets enjoyed playing the game.
This is an excellent way to be social with other Vets. Our Auxiliary hopes to return next month to play Bingo with the Vets. |
