Diana Russell-Milton

Diana Hall, Russell, Milton was born in Riverside, New Jersey to Claude Hall and Thelma Gilbert. As the baby of the family, Diana has a big sister Claudia Hall from Bensalem, PA., and a Brother Benjamin Hall from Baltimore. Her Father Claude Hall is buried in the Beverly National Cemetery. He was a WWII veteran. Her mother always said he was in the CCC camp, but he never talked about his time in the Army. Diana is very patriotic and is very proud of her father, her Veteran.
Diana joined John J. Pershing Auxiliary 4647 located in Antelope, CA in 2007 through the eligibility of her husband James Milton, who served in Korea. She has two Children Talanda N. Dangerfield, who is a Lifetime Auxiliary member at 4647, and her husband Akil who is in the Air force National Guard. Diana’s son, William Russell III and wife Ashlee, both are Auxiliary members of 4647.
Diana and her husband are the proud Papa and Nana to Zoey Russell age 6, Tyson Dangerfield age 4, and Twins Khloe and William IV who are 3 years old.
Diana was elected as Auxiliary 4647 President 2013-15 and served two terms. She earned Outstanding President and Outstanding runner up her second term. In 2016-17 she was elected as District President and earned outstanding District President and achieving the Circle of Excellence. Diana was elected as Department Guard in 2018-19 when Erma "Tootsie Dougherty” was Department President. She continued to advance through each Department Officer position until elected as Department President in 2023.
Diana has been a Chairman for many Auxiliary, District and Department programs. She is also a member of MOCA, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and the VFW National Home for Children.
Diana has been a successful Hairstylist/ owner for over 40 years. Diana loves making people feel and look good.
Diana dedicates this year to her mother, Thelma L. Gilbert who was with her through all her years as Auxiliary and District President. Diana’s mother passed away last year however, Diana carries her in her heart. She knows that her mother is with her in spirit and is watching over her with such pride as Diana serves as the California Department President for the 2023-2024 year.
